The village of Lavenham and another Harry Potter home. A home in Lacock was used as the first Potter home in Godric's Hollow. This building was used later to represent their home.
There are differing schools of thought about the origin and meaning of this nursery rhyme:
There was a crooked man and he walked a crooked mile.
He found a crooked sixpence upon a crooked stile.
He bought a crooked cat, which caught a crooked mouse,
and they all lived together in a little crooked house.
One notes that Lavenham was the inspiration. Many of its building are indeed quite crooked.
