Happy Father's Day to Daddy, Lee!

Here is why the girls love their Daddy.

Abi is probably whispering that when she grows up she is going to marry Daddy and they are going to be tooth doctors together. We often hear this.

Daddy is usually up for pleasing his little girls at his own expense.

(Here it's physical and monetarily.)

Abi loves her Daddy because, "He puts band-aids on me."

Abi also loves Daddy because, "He gets me water."

It's obvious that this little girl loves her Daddy. Whenever she hears the garage or someone at the door, she comes running while yelling, "Daddeeeeeee!!!"

Annie said she loves Dad because, "He dances the best.... out of the boys."

Dad is a great storyteller. You can see the kindergarten children are enthralled. Lee is great with kids and adults. Lee's co-residents call his case presentation, "Storytime with Roundy."

Annie also loves her daddy because, "He is a good Dada."

Lee was asked to make a special appearance at Beard Elementary in honor of Veteran's Day.

He is the life of the party.

"I love Daddy because he lets me snuggle him." ---Abigail

Nothing puts Elena to sleep like a good cuddle on the couch with Daddy. Lee was feeding

her a bottle and fell asleep. Elena stayed awake to finish before hopping down off the couch

to put her bottle on the table. She immediately went back to her most cozy spot on the

couch with Daddy to crash.

Lee is our muse. And he can be very amusing.

Another reason Annie loves her daddy is that, "He brushes and flosses my teeth."

That is how we end each evening, with flossing and brushing, so it is an appropriate end to this posting (even though I have tons of material!)

Thank you, Lee, for being such a wonderful Daddy to these three precious little girls. You are an outstanding caregiver, provider, teacher and example to them and me.

I love you for a million reasons!
