Here are a few more cool things we discovered:
Rander's Tropical Zoo
This place had a biome of Africa, Asia and South America. We even got to see a piranha feeding, which we could not bring ourselves to photograph.
Four little monkeys
We went inside the bat cave and traumatized the little one....
but, snakes are okay in the light.
Look how close we came to Horsens! It was on our way to and from the Zoo.
The girls are hanging out with Emilie and Nikolaj.

We couldn't resist and we went back to Horsens. Look who we found: Sister Katie Pearson!!!

Jelling is a small village in Denmark. At the edge, there are two burial mounds with a church set between them and two carved stones. Jelling Mounds, Runic Stones and Church are 10th century relics from the pagan Nordic culture. The site has particular meaning to Danes as the place where the Vikings accepted Christianity and Denmark was unified.
The burial mounds are said to have been those of King Gorm of Denmark and his wife Thyra, the parents of King Harold I of Denmark.
Harold erected one of the two unique and massive monolithic Jelling stones, which bears these words: 'King Harald bade this monument be made in memory of Gorm his father and Thyre his mother, that Harald who won for himself all Denmark and Norway and made the Danes Christians.'

As an interesting and random side note: King Harald referred to is Harold Bluetooth. He is the guy after which the modern day radio frequency standard for connecting computer devices called “Bluetooth” were named.
In case you didn't already know, Legos are a Danish invention and world headquarters are located in Billund.
