Annie started Kindergarten at Bob Beard Elementary yesterday! Of course she loves it. I might have been in part secretly hoping she wouldn't so I could have an excuse to keep her home with me. It has been a big adjustment for us since school starts a bit early for my night owl (7:45 AM) and Kindergarten is all day. She gets out at 2:45 PM.
The first day I picked her up she said she wanted to go everyday, but then she immediately followed that in tears with, "I never want to leave you again!" She knows how to make a parent feel loved.
