A Great Day at Sea World with the Family

We had a great day at Sea World on Friday, day 8, with Mary Lynne, Nathan, McKay and my parents. The weather was perfect and the crowds were minimal. It was nice to go on a Friday. Annie didn't have the day off from school. We wanted to pull her out, but she said she needed to be in class so we of course had to allow her. Lee picked her up once school was out and brought her to the park for the evening.

Sea World goes all out for Halloween. It is a little too creepy for me and we had to shelter the children in some areas. If you want a great "spook alley" experience...this is it. I am glad we did it before dark. Here is Lee pretending to be scared in the Haunted Forest.

Annie is getting a dancing lesson from 'Jack's Minions' before official showtime.

This may be the dolphin that played peek-a-boo with Elena. It kept coming up and going down (like 10 times) in the water right in front of her.

Shamu!

Watching Shamu.

My parents rode "Journey to Atlantis" and so Abi wanted to as well. She was just a little shy of the 42" height requirement, but was allowed to ride anyway. Abi is on the front row in the orange shirt....seated between Mary Lynne and me. She loved the ride and wanted to go again. She said, "I was just a little bit (a)fraid."
